Tell us something about yourself:

The hiring managers ask you to know about yourself and your background. You can share your background, but not too much. Then provide the most important and relevant highlights from your previous experience that have made you most qualified for the position.

How did you hear about the position?

This may sound like a straightforward question but your answer should be very tactful. By asking this they want to know how much you aware of the organization and the position. Mention the name if someone offers it to you. Give a strong reason to apply for a job because doing so increases your chances of getting a job.

Why do you want this job?

Companies want to hire people who are interested in it. Provide a few specific reasons why this position is perfect for you. You can share some relevant aspects of the organization why you like this company the most.

Why should we hire you?

This is, on the one hand, a frightening question, on the other hand, it is a lucky charm for you. Because you get a second chance to provide more information about your skills and experience. Use some key factors about yourself that make you the best among any other candidate for the position.

What are your greatest strengths?

While answering the question, consider quality, not quantity. In other words, don’t spread the list of adjectives. Instead, choose one or more of the specific attributes relevant to this position (depending on the question) and illustrate them with examples.

Again, if you expect to mention something that makes you a great candidate, you haven’t had a chance yet, it would be the right time to speak up.

What is your greatest weakness?  

Discussing own weakness in front of a jury is very much awkward. Especially, there where you come to achieve something. When answering this question, share some of your weaknesses. Try to answer tactfully that turns your weakness into your strengths. Make sure to mention the measures you’ve taken to overcome it. This will give a positive impression. They will know how much you are aware of yourself.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

This is a show-up segment. The reason behind it is, you can tell them the most important achievement of yours. But never be overwhelmed to tell your list. Instead, pick one or two most powerful achievements that clearly show your ethic and values. Clarify your points and mention how you drive business.

What you liked most about your previous job?

Tell them about your former workplace and working environment. This will provide interviewer some clear information about your focus, performance, and enthusiasm at your last job. Provide specific information.

Why are you leaving your current job?

This is the most crucial question for an interviewee. Many people talk about the negative side of their previous job. Which makes a bad impact on you. Instead of blaming frame things in a way that indicates you want to take a new challenge. And tell how can a new company help you to grow your confidence level.

What are your salary expectations?

This may seem like a simple question, but your answer can throw you out even if answered the previous questions correctly. Don’t ask much or less compared to the post. Always provide a range that can be negotiated.
